This Is Getting Out Of Control

THIS IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL

Seems like the whole world has lost their mind this year, doesn’t it?
Every time I open my social media or turn on the tv, there it is: violence, hate, wars, sickness, killings. Just plain ole ugliness.

We live in a torn world. A sin filled world. A world full of people who do not know Christ.

But you already know that.

I guess it’s our human nature to worry even though Jesus tells us it is a sin and it changes nothing.

Think about this: when we worry, we are focusing all our attention on worldly problems and have taken our focus off of God.

Here’s the eye opener:
You will never be in control of your life circumstances BUT you can relax and trust God’s control.

You’re trying to drive the bus when the bus already has a driver. You just need to sit on the passenger seat and fasten your seatbelt. That’s it.

Regardless of what’s going on in the world, nothing can seperate you from the LOVING presence of God.

“For I am covinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

“When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?” Psalms 56:3-4

Take a deep breath. Relax.

Turn your focus back towards God and off of this broken world. Its not our job to “fix”, just to spread love where we can while we’re still here.

Love one another. That’s it. Let God take the wheel while you keep your eyes on Him.

Keep your focus on Him.
