Your Assignment If You Choose To Accept It

We never really know what each day is going to bring us do we? Some days we wake up to pure joy, an announcement of a wedding, a birth, or some other news that brings us so much happiness.

Those days are priceless and we love to have those days don’t we?

Ofcourse, we also have the days where we wake up to learn of a death, a divorce, a tragedy or loss of some kind.

Both of these days come on us unexpectedly. We usually aren’t expecting either one as we start our day and they can catch us off guard.

Days of tragedy present a choice between two alternatives- giving up or relying on God.

Your assignment is to trust in God absolutely, resting in His sovereignty and His faithfulness.

You can turn to Him at any point, and He will help you crawl out of the despair and helplessness that you feel. He will give you strength to face hard days, hard hours, and hard minutes. He will be with you throughout your days when you feel like you can’t take one more step.

Lean on Him through these hard times.

Our assignment as Christians is to learn to give Him everything that we can’t bear by ourselves. He wants us to give Him those bad days.

So whether you’re going through joyful days or sorrowful days, you should be thanking Him or leaning on Him. He rejoices with us on our happy days and calms us on our hard days.

“Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior.” Psalms 42:5

“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Continue to walk steadfastly in Christ Jesus. Don’t lose faith and don’t give up. Now more than ever we are called out to be a unique people in a sinful world.

Stand strong and firm.

Be kind to someone who needs it today. ❤
